Combination Skin : Product Choices

Disclaimer : This page contains an affiliate link to products. We may receive a commission for purchases made through these links.

Combination skin refers to a common experience where we have oiliness in the T zone alone with dryness along our cheeks. The oiliness in the T zone is difficult to manage because it can often get flaky! It makes it difficult to understand- should we be drying this out or adding hydration? These products tend to be favored by our patients who have had trouble managing their skin. Remember that combination skin is not a medical diagnosis and often is an indication you may have underlying seborrhea or rosacea that you should have evaluated by your Dermatologist to better control.

CeraVe Facial Moisturizing Lotion AM with Sunscreen, Broad Spectrum SPF 30

We love CeraVe as it focuses on maintaining the skin's barrier with ceramides.

Combination skin can often result from underlying inflammation in the skin that causes it to be reactive to temperature changes, stress, and the environment.
